About Breakwater

Breakwater is a private place to put the things you cannot say out loud. You write what you are carrying into a jar that lives only on your phone. Not a post, not a message to anyone, and nothing we can read.

Then you decide what happens to it: smash it in a room built from glass and light, keep it, or float it out to sea with no name attached, to whoever else happens to be awake.

It is built for the nights that are too heavy to post about and not heavy enough for a hospital. For anyone who needs to let something out without an audience, a username, or a permanent record. There are no streaks, no followers, no metrics, and nothing that asks you to come back tomorrow.

What comes back from other people is screened before it reaches you, and that holds in both directions. When Breakwater writes back itself, it says so. It never pretends to be a person. You can read how the safety works in full.
